A couple of years ago I took the Strengths Finder test, got my results and never really looked at them again, until now.
Recently I worked with Carol Anne as a Strengths Coach. The online course was excellent and really opened my eyes. It was like being given a guide-book to my behaviors. I have developed such an understanding of why I have done things in the past and why I do what I do now.
I’ve used this revelation to benefit me in my actions and interactions with others, both in my personal and professional life.
The course was uplifting as I learnt so much about myself and the others in it and how our strengths can shape us. The online discussions were so valuable and enjoyable. Carol-Anne really knows how to bring people together and work with them.
Since doing the course I now tell everyone I meet about Strengths Finder and the value of working with a Strengths Coach.
Carol Anne is a person who possesses boundless enthusiasm and her strengths make her an amazing person to work with. Next year I’m looking to have my staff and senior students take the strengths test and I will be calling on Carol Anne to work with us through that process.

No matter how stressful the week with work and other obligations, I always looked forward to meeting with Carol Anne and my virtual classmates from around the world.
What I found most meaningful in taking Carol Anne’s “Teach With Your Strengths” course is that she brought together people from all aspects of education—teachers, coaches, administrators, technology specialists, etc.
While we were learning about our own strengths and recognizing strengths in our students, we also were learning about one another and the roles we serve in education. I was able to gain a richer understanding of the demands on administrators and specialists and challenge my thinking of how I interact as a teacher with these roles beyond the microcosm of my classroom.
