People exceptionally talented in the Context theme enjoy thinking about the past. They understand the present by researching its history. Perspective and background are important for people with strong Context talents. They become wiser about the future because they can see its seeds sown in the past.
Moses is the father of historians. He records the creation story, the Garden of Eden, and man's fall. His book of Genesis is all history. He follows Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. He gives detailed information about their lives and God's dealing with them.
Even Moses' sermons are historical! He has two sermons in Deuteronomy (Ch 4:15-20 and Ch 5)- both have history sprinkled throughout them!
But Jesus is the Ultimate Context!
Jesus was the fulfillment of 353 prophecies. Luke even quotes Moses' own historical records when he says, "All things must be fulfilled, which ere written in the law of Moses..." Luke 24:44.
When Jesus wanted to talk about his future resurrection, he refers back to Jonah who was in the fish's ly belly 3 days and nights.
Even when looking back, Hebrews 13:8 says it all, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." - Making him the Ultimate Context!
